Microblading

When I first saw microblading back in 2015 my jaw dropped to the floor! I was obsessed! I frantically researched the treatment to find where to train, and like most brand new treatments I found myself booking a course just outside of London within weeks. At the time it was such a new treatment all the images I was seeing were from the States and Asia (its country of origin) . I knew this treatment would be popular…but even I hadn’t anticipated the microblading frenzy that was about to unfold!

When I completed my training I was the first Welsh artist to have graduated from that academy, I was delighted to be the first to bring the treatment back to Wales!

Every year since I continue to invest in education to refine my skills and keep up to date with new tools, trends and techniques.

In all honesty it takes years to perfect this treatment. Countless hours of practice and experience that can only come with time. Working with hundreds of clients gathering experiences of working with every skin type and tone, facial structures, all ages and hair colouring.

My passion for this treatment is unmeasurable, its a priceless moment when your client sees her new brows! I’m honoured to be chosen as your artist and appreciate that you are trusting me with your face! Its a huge deal I wholeheartedly appreciate your trust in me!

What is Microblading?

Microblading is the Japanese method of semi-permanent brow tattooing and is a manual, non-machine method.

Unlike permanent tattooed eyebrows, the microblading method has no spilling under the skin; making the aftercare of your eyebrow treatment much less intensive.

Microblading is considered to be semi-permanent as it’s compared to the traditional hair stroke machine technique. It is done using a very fine blade (made up of 10-16 tiny, fine needles configured into a blade shape) to deposit pigments into the top layers of the skin.

Because we’re impacting colour closer to the top of the skins surface, the strokes appear and remain crisp and extremely fine.

This method is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows without it looking overly obvious. The results are very natural looking and leave feathered hair-like strokes, regardless of the amount of hair present. The pigments used in this method have been formulated to match your original eyebrow colour and if the eyebrows are still present, blend perfectly into the existing hairs.

The results of microblading are beautiful, natural looking, fuller, more youthful eyebrows, designed to your personally desired brow. The results can last anywhere from 9-12 months depending on different factors such as client’s skin type, sun exposure, chemicals contained in creams and beauty products applied to the skin.

People suffering from alopecia, or any other condition that causes hair loss, benefit greatly from microblading as well as people who simply are not happy with their eyebrows but wish to have a beautiful, natural looking browAlso, Microblading is marvellous for the more mature clients, who’s brows have grown weak, patchy and slow to grow through age.

A Top Up is highly recommended, usually between 4-8 weeks.

Patch Test Required at least 48 Hrs prior to Treatment
